Carla Lekkerkerker (try saying THAT 6 times fast!) got her first swimming certificate when she was only a baby, and she's loved the water ever since. She competed during her high school years in Holland, and then took on open water swimming in Barcelona, where she learned how to: keep direction, swim against the current, and - the biggest challenge of all - dodge jellyfish. When not swimming, Carla is likely training for another triathlon, cycling around town to auditions, practicing yoga, or teaching a bootcamp. As a SwimTeam coach, she loves helping her swimmers become aware of their strengths and enjoy the body they're in.
